Watch our video below:

Vicwood Group's operations in Central West Africa include almost two million hectares of forestry concessions (U.F.As) and eight sawmills in Cameroon, Central African Republic and Congo. Our sawmill production capacity is 7,000 - 8,000 m3 per month. We offer our African hardwood lumber in the following species to our customers around the world: Afrormosia, Bibolo, Bosse, Iroko, Kossipo, Mahogany ivorensis (Khaya, Acajou), Obeche (Ayous, Wawa), Padouk, Sapele, Sipo and Tali.

Below are our usual sales terms:

Thicknesses: 4/4”*, 6/4”*, 8/4”, 10/4” and 12/4” or in metric measurements: 25mm (27mm), 38mm (41mm), 50mm (53mm), 63mm (66mm) and 75mm (78mm).

Widths: 150mm (+5mm) and up (allowing maximum 10% 100mm - 140mm).

Lengths: 2.10m to 4.40m in 0.10m increments.

Grade: FAS air-dried or kiln-dried.

Shipment: Direct shipment ex Douala via containers.

Payment: 30% deposit on order and an at sight, irrevocable Letter of Credit for the balance, or a 100% at sight, irrevocable Letter of Credit, or, in some cases, DP.

Minimum order: Two 40-foot containers.

*Note: Please understand that we are a supplier of raw material. Specifically for the Americas, we are now able to offer 25mm and 38mm (4/4” and 6/4”) thicknesses at our sawmill in Congo-Brazzaville, where we also have KD capacity. Nonetheless, as our sawmills are not sophisticated, we offer rough-sawn lumber products so that our customers can themselves further process them into S2S or S4S lumber in their own countries.

Kindly contact us with your lumber enquiries.
